Home > Turbo Separator

Turbo Separator is suitable for separating unwanted materials from waste pulp like metal places, heavy water resistance particles, pins & works as a Plastic catcher.

  • M.S.fabricated body.
  • S.S.Impeller.
  • S.S. perforated plate.
  • Requires 2 - 3% consistency for better result.

Turbo Separator:
The Rotary Separator uses centrifugal forces to stratify the stock into three regions, heavy rejects, light rejects and acceptable materials (accepts/fibers). Heavy rejects are forced against the outside wall, light rejects remain in the center, and acceptable materials (accepts/fibers) migrate to the region in between. Heavy rejects exit the Rotary Separator via a tangential pipe at the top of the machine. This enables them to exit at high pressure. No pump is needed to move them to the High Density Cleaner (secondary fiber recovery device). Light rejects exit.
Turbo Seprator
Turbo separatorthrough the center of the front of the Rotary Separator and sent to the Vibrating Screen (secondary fiber recovery device). The “accepts” remain within the Rotary Separator until they can pass through a perforated plate (screenplate). A rotor, which has minimal clearance above the screenplate, cleans it and also breaks fiber clumps into individual fibers, allowing them to pass into the accepts pipe behind the screenplate and send on for further filtering and refining. To reduce wear from heavy contaminants (glass, staples, sand, etc.), the outside wall and front of the Rotary Separator are lined with basalt tile which is a very highly wear resistant material. The pressure within the Rotary Separator is high enough that no pumps are required at any of yhe outlets.

:: The vibrating screen is the secondary cleaning device for the light

The high consistency loop begins with the pulper, with secondary fiber pulped to about 3 1/2% to 4% consistency. From the pulper, stock goes to two

With Turbo Separators, a coarse contaminant removal technology more commonly used in India with limited use in the U.S. Each of the units is designed at maximum 600 tpd capacity. The ceramic-lined Turbo Separator is described by mill personnel as a pulper turned on its side so that the rotor forms a vortex. Large contaminants, such as plastics, enter the vortex and are drawn out. Since it is similar to a pulper, the Turbo Separator does a good job of deflaking. From the Turbo Separator, the accepted stock is pumped to a dump chest.

The Sizes are T-500,T-600,T-300,T-800 and in Ms const. lined with s.s 304 with a reject bottles with dilutions valve. The screen holes sizes are from 1.8 mm to 3mm.in s.s.plates.
